        abstract = {The Interaction between Multimedia device such as Smartphone or laptop
and human become more advance through times, the ideas that concern computer
vision emerged. One of them is auto pause or smart pause technology. this
technology can be found in nowadays smartphone and the manufacture ship the
gadget with this feature already. With this technology user can enjoy their
watching on Video Player without worry about losing important moments on that
video. Video Player will automatically pause itself when user distracted and not
stare at the screen. This such thing really useful for gadget interactivity since the
user not always be ready to touch the pause button when the good things come out
of the video. Unfortunately, this technology only exist on those gadgets which
have expensive price and sometime unreachable by so many people. Therefore
this paper comes out with the idea to bring this technology to laptop which
assumed has cheaper price and has so many user.
This paper use face detection algorithm which provided by OpenCV and
Eye Center detection Algorithm. The Eye Center Algorithm based on journal
?Accurate eye centre localisation by means of gradients? by Fabian Timm dan
Erhard Barth which published in 2011.
