Didik R. Wahyudi, M.T. abstract: VoIP can be implemented on a corporate, office, campus, or housing, either through the Internet connection or via a local network. Basically the main requirements that must be met in VoIP, which have a connection to the Internet, and or have VoIP providers / operators directly. In this final project, the authors make a VoIP with network security vpn server that is configured on a PC (Personal Computer) with a Linux Trixbox as a VoIP server and OpenVPN as a vpn server with wifi network, so that the client can use a cell phone that has wifi facilities. The method used for this final project is method NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), and tools used in this study such as: PC, RouterBOARD, Switchhub, laptops and smartphones. We measured QoS (Quality of Service) based on multiple parameters, including measurements made on the number of client communication, comparison without vpn and voip network voip over vpn network, the distance parameter, calculating the value of MOS (Mean Opinion Source) and calculation server memory resources.
