N2  - This research aims to understand the relations of social support and self
efficacy in memorizing holy qur'an of aisyah dormitory?s student of Ali Maksum
foundation of Krapyak islamic boarding school of Yogyakarta. The independent
variable in this research is social support and the dependent variable is self-efficacy
in the memorizing the Qur'an. The subject of this research is 52 Students who are
memorize holy Qur?an in Aisyah Dormitory. The method of this research is
quantitative. The Data was obtained by measurements using a self-efficacy scale in
memorizing Qur'an compile with modifying the scale that written by Marisa Narolita
Anasia (2011) and social support scale compile with modifying the scale by Ayu
Febriasari (2007). The analysis technique that used is non parametric statistic
Spearman's rho with supported by SPSS version 16.0 for Windows. The results of this
research prove that there are very significant positive relations of social support and
self-efficacy in memorizing holy qur'an of aisyah dormitory?s student. The results of
data?s analize is the correlation coefficient as big as 0.587 (P > 0.01) in critical
values of the Spearman Rho. the higher is social support that be received, self
efficacy in memorizing holy qur?an of student is higher too. Un the contrary, the
lower is social support that be received, self efficacy in memorizing holy qur?an of
student is lower too.
