%T EFEKTIVITAS PEMANFAATAN KOLEKSI DI PERPUSTAKAAN SMK NEGERI 5 YOGYAKARTA
%X This research was conducted at the Library of SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. The
purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of collections in
the library of SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. This is quantitative descriptive research.
The methods of collecting the data used in this study include questionnaire
method, the method of observation, interviews, and documentation methods.
Variable which is used in this study is a single variable. It uses Incidental
sampling technique, with a total sample of 93 respondents. The analytical method
used was descriptive statistics. I use software SPSS 16.0 for Windows to manage
the data. The result of this research is outlined in table form and analyzed in the
form interpretation containing conclusions. Based on the analysis of the data it can
be seen that the percentage of borrowing is equal to 54.01 %, reading somewhere
in the library is equal to 58.35 %, record the information in the book is equal to
57.5 % and multiply (using copy services) is equal to 49.5 %. The largest
percentage of the value is reading in place of 58.35 % with equally effective
category and the smallest percentage is multiply (using copy services ) amounted
to 49.5 %; the category is not equally effective. In conclusion, the users
effectively use the collection of the books in the library of SMK Negeri 5
Yogyakarta. Suggestions for this library is developing the type of collection which
is up to date so that the users are always interested to read in the library; and in
addition, variety of types of collection including the amount of exemplars will be
useful for the development of this library.
