The research method used in this research is the quasi experiment by giving particular treatment of the reinforcement of psychological resources basic program as the form of the intervention toward the subject. This program is developed by the writer based on some factors proposed by Hoffman and Suzanne Denham which are appraised for being able to influence someone's empathy. The sample technique used in this research is quota sampling technique with the total subjects of thirteen female students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Those subjects join this program for six session which is completed on three days. The witer uses empathy scale as the data collection technique. To analyze the differences between pre-test and post-test, the writer applies Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. the result of the analysis shows p=0,096 (p{\ensuremath{<}}0,05) score. It can be drawn that this program is able to give the influence toward empathy, however, the influence given by the program is not significant. The effectiveness of this program is not seen on the result of the analysis. Empathy is a complex form of psychological attitude which involves observation, memory, knowledge and reason. Those substances mix together to produce the understanding of someone's thought and feeling. } }
