The purpose of this study was to describe the experience of the villagers
Kinah rejo Cangkringan Sleman Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study were three
residents Kinahrejo living on the southern slopes of Mount Merapi
This study used a qualitative approach , whereas the method used was a
descriptive study . Approach with a qualitative descriptive study method is used to
assess and address concerns and obtain a more in-depth information about the
model Survival Experience in Disaster-Prone Communities in the South Slope of
Mount Merapi , particularly Kinah Rejo village.
Results obtained from this study are conducted forms Survival . Among
emerging presence of : Still believe in things that are the dreams / mystical things
and learn from past experience (experience convensional), always vigilant and
look at the situation.
