%X This study aims to find out the level of usage for “statis” archives at BPAD
D.I. Yogyakarta based on a circulation research done from year 2011-2013 as well as
to find out the commonly used “statis” archives and those that are rarely used. This
study is a descriptive-quanyitative study that focuses on all the available “statis”
archives at BPAD D.I. Yogyakarta and the objective of this study is to find out the
level of usage of “statis” archives in BPAD D.I. Yogyakarta based on the circulation
research done from year 2011-2013. Methods used for data collection in this study
are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysisi is made using
“presentase” and mean. Result of this study show that generally the level of usage in
BPAD D.I. Yogyakarta is 0,36% which indicates minimal usage of the “statis”
archives. The following are the percentage breakdown of the result of this study
starting from the most commonly used archives to the least used ones – textual
archives 0,54%, followed by photo archives 0,54%, audio visual archives 0,33%,
newpaper archives 0,00%. This study hopes to provide inputs for libraries so that
there is an increased level of usage of the available archives at BPAD D.I.
Yogyakarta.
