This research includes library research by using the data such as narrations, descriptions, and dialogues in a realistic children?s stories in Bobo magazine 24-38 years XLI title number 33 stories. This study used a pragmatic approach and method of collect data are documentation, observation, literature, read and record. The method to process the data used content analysis. The conclusion was obtained that the educational value of children?s characters in the stories realistic spread in each title by way of delivering diverse. The character education values are religious, tolerate, honest, dicipline, hard work, creative, independent, democrati, willing to know, nationality, loving nation, respect, friendly, peace-loving, reading habbit, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, responsibility, The title may represent three or more values of character education. Educational value of the most common character is a peace-loving character with a number 23 times and the least was in love with number 1 time nationality.
