(2) The raising critical thinking skill of students who join the lesson using inquiry model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content on heat and temperature material. The kind of this research is quasi experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The variable in this research consists of free variable called inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content and the bound variable called critical thinking skill. The population is all of students in State Senior High School 1 Piyungan on X grade academic year 2013/2014. Sample’s taking being done with purposive sampling technique, so that it’s decided XD class as experiment class and XC as control class. Technique of data collecting is test called pretest matter and posttest matter. Technique of analizing data using descriptive statistics and normalized gain (N-gain). Result of this research shows that (1) Contained possitive effect between inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content toward critical thinking skill of students on heat and temperature material (average posttest score of experiment class = 60,65) average posttest score of control class = 46,27). (2) Contained raising of the students who join the lesson with inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type with integration-interconnection content on heat and temperature material (Experiment class N-Gain = 0,316 (medium) control class N-Gain = 0,087 (low). %Z Pembimbing : Joko Purwanto, M.Sc.
