        abstract = {This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of color label
utilization in information retrieval process in the Library and Archives Office of
Magelang regency. This research is a quantitative study. The variable in this study
is a single variable. It is effectiveness of color label utilization in information
retrieval process. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, observation and
documentation. Analysis of the data using the mean and the grand mean formula.
The results showed that the level of effectiveness of color label utilization in
information retrieval process in the Library and Archives Office of Magelang
regency is high. These results demonstrated the value of the grand mean of 4
(four) indicator. Each indicator has an average value, they are the accuracy of the
use of 2.62, the achievement of 2.54, 2.60 for convenience, expediency of 2.73.
Based on the average results of each of these indicators, the value of the grand
mean of 2.62. From these results, it can be concluded that the color label
utilization is effective to help finding book collections.
