"This study aims to describe how religious coping in mothers who act\r\nas a single parent. Religious coping is a process to be able to cope with the\r\nnegative effect with involve religious elements. Mothers who acts as a single\r\nparent is a woman widowed, separated or divorced by her husband without\r\nthe marriage bond which serves as the backbone of the family in charge of\r\nthe financial, emotional and family' future .\r\nThe subjects in this study were three women who had been left for\r\ndead by her husband or divorce with her husband. Two of the subjects was a\r\nwoman who left her husband dead and the subject is a woman who divorced\r\nher husband. The subject is taken in accordance with the criteria in this\r\nstudy. This study used a phenomenological approac. Collecting data in this\r\nstudy using interviews and observation techniques.\r\nThe results showed that religious coping very large role in the daily\r\nlife of the subject, because the subject is more in need of God and depend on\r\nGod. The subjects were also more likely to use positive religious coping than\r\nnegative religious coping. It was stated able to reduce the pressure\r\nexperienced by the subjects, as well as positive impact in their lives. Subjects\r\nwere able to minimize the obstacles that occur mothers act as a single parent.\r\nThe positive thing is that many subjects do sincere, patient and grateful .\r\n\r\n"^^ .
