%X This research aims to determine the relationship between the  meaning of life and psychological well-being on inmates in Correctional  Narcotics Yogyakarta. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a  positive relationship between the meaning of life with the psychological  well-being of prisoners in Correctional Narcotics Yogyakarta. The  subjects used in this study are 45 inmates in Correctional Narcotics  Yogyakarta. The proportional random sampling technique is chosen as a  technique for taking samples of this research. The instrument of data  collection which is used in this research is psychological well-being scale  and the scale of the meaning of life. To analysis the data, the technique  correlation of Pearson's product moment with 16.00 SPSS for windows.  The results showed there was a significant positive relationship between  the meaning of life with psychological well-being, which has a correlation  coefficient ( r xy ) = 0.772 with p = 0.000 ( p < 0.05 ). The higher levels of  the meaning of life the higher of psychological well-being prisoners in  Correctional Narcotics Yogyakarta. Conversely, the lower the level of the  meaning of life then the tendency lower of psychological well-being. The  meaning of life affect psychological well-being of prisoners in  Correctional Narcotics Yogyakarta by 52.2 % as indicated by the R square  = 0.552 .
