"This study aims to obtain nano-sized magnetite nanoparticles and study the effect\r\nof temperature on the function of the crystal structure of magnetite nanoparticles.\r\nSynthesis is done by mixing natural sand with HCl as solvent and NaOH as a\r\nprecipitant ultrasonic. Function of temperature was varied from 30⁰ C, 50⁰ C, and\r\n80⁰ C and seen its effect on the cubic crystal structure formed from the sample.\r\nSample test results magnetite nanoparticles were characterized by using XRD (XRay\r\nDifraction) to determine the phase formation and the size of the crystals\r\nformed and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) to determine the morphology\r\nof the sample. From the results of the characterization of unknown fraction of the\r\nsample volume decreases due to the appearance of another phase in the form (α-\r\nFe2O3), in addition to the sample of magnetite nanoparticles have a face-centered\r\ncubic structure (Face Centered Cubic) with the crystal fields in accordance with\r\nthe standard crystal field JCPDS (Joint Committee of Powder standart) no.19-629\r\nwith the size of crystals at temperatures 30⁰ C of (22.62 ± 1.56) nm, at a\r\ntemperature of 50⁰ C (24.30 ± 1.20) nm, and the temperature of 80⁰ C (20 , 60 ±\r\n0.60) nm. The results showed that the sonochemical method with a function of\r\ntemperature can reduce the size of magnetite nanoparticles and no effect on the\r\ncrystal structure of magnetite nanoparticles.\r\n\r\n"^^ .
