        abstract = {Center for Information Technology and Data Base (PTIPD) is one of the
Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, which
has the duty to manage and develop a management information system, the
development and maintenance of networks and applications, database
management, development of other technologies, and network cooperation. Every
IT services provide by PTIPD always be changed at regular intervals, it shows
that PTIPD have made the process of monitoring and management of IT. Is the
monitoring and management of IT processes performed by PTIPD is in
conformity with the standards of the IT governance, this needs to be verified
through the audit process monitoring and management of IT.
In this study, the audit is done by using the framework of Control
Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT). COBIT standard
was used because it has a broad scope in management and has a very detailed
process, COBIT is also the most complete guide and the best practices for IT
management. Of the 34 processes of COBIT, this study uses the four process of
domain Monitor and Evaluate (ME), which is the process of IT Performance
Monitoring and Evaluation (ME1), Monitoring and Evaluation of Internal
Controls (ME2), Ensure Compliance with External Requirements (ME3), and the
Providing IT Governance (ME4). Data analysis refers to the Key Performance
Indicators, Key Goal Indicators, and Level Maturity Model, which has six scale or
level of maturity (Non-existent, Initial/Ad Hoc, Repeatable but Intuitive, Defined,
Managed and Measurable, and Optimized).
The results of the audit monitoring and management of IT in PTIPD UIN
Sunan Kalijaga itself has the maturity level of 1.51 (Initial/Ad Hoc). This suggests
that the PTIPD UIN Sunan Kalijaga has had several initiatives planning
mechanisms, governance and oversight of IT, but its nature is still ad hoc,
sporadic, not consistent, yet formal and reactive.
