N2  - This research entitled ? The Action of Library of Arum of Developing
Reading Interest of Society of Banjararum Village Kalibawang district Kulon
Progo Regency Yogyakarta? this research uses qualitative and description
approach, and this research formulates three main problems, the first one is to
know how the The Action of Library of Arum of Developing Reading Interest of
Society of Banjararum Village. The second one to know the library efforts to
develop the society of reading interest, and the last one to investigate the
inhibiting and supporting factor. In this research, The researcher believes that the
library a real action to develop the reading interest must be built in the village
society, so that way the library is the one of solution to increase the reading habit
of society and become the school of society. From this reason, so it may be
necessary to research about the action of Arum Library of developing reading
interest of society of Banjararum Village Kalibawang District Kulon Progo
Regency in this research Arum Library as the object of research. To get valid dat,
the researcher employs three methods, interview, observation and documentation.
In conclusion Arum Library could have developed the reading interest of
society. The evidence appear from the society respect and the participation of
library to develop the reading interest of society such as service, in cooperation
with the village institution to province institution, providing excellent connection,
conducive environment, and promotion of recognition service to the society.
