(1956) is classified into the domain of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. With this classification, the ideal learning evaluation should cover all of these three domains comprehensively. Reality shows that evaluation has not been comprehensively implemented because it is still dominated by the evaluation of cognitive domain by using test techniques. All subjects studied in schools and madrasah cover three domains with different proportions. Akhlaq Aqidah subjects are included in the subjects which have proportion of affective domain goals higher than other subjects, because in addition to aiming to enable students to have knowledge of Aqidah and Akhlaq, the most important is to instill faith in the true and solid ways as well as nurture attitudes and commendable behaviors so as to measure the achievement of this purpose the use of testing techniques is inadequate. A primary issue in this dissertation is concerning the development of an evaluation instrument to measure the achievement of the affective domain goals of Akhlaq Aqidah subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Elementary School). More specifically, the objective of this study is to find a research instrument that is valid and reliable to measure the affective domain of Akhlaq Aqidah subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Following the R & D cycle Borg and Gall (1983), the development model used in this study consists of 10 steps as follows: (1) The study of literature on Aqidah Akhlaq subjects and development in the affective domain evaluation instruments in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah; (2) review of competency standards of graduates (SKL), competency standards, and basic competence (KD); (3) development of indicators of learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlaq subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah; (4) the selection of evaluation instruments to measure the affective domain of Aqidah Akhlaq subjects; (5) preparation of evaluation instrument draft of affective domains of Aqidah Akhlaq subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah from grade 1 to grade 6; (6) phase I try-out on a limited scope in 3 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah; (7) the analysis and improvement of the test results of the first phase; (8) phase 2 try-out on a wider scale in 7 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah; (9) analysis of a phase 2 try-out –validity analysis using factor analysis and reliability analysis techniques using Cronbach's alpha reliability analysis; (10) the evaluation and refinement of the results of phase II try-out. The products produced are two instruments. Instrument A for grade 1 to grade 6 is developed to measure the affective domain adjusted with competency standards for each grade. The grade 1 instrument is developed for parents and classroom teachers, grade 2 instrument is for classroom teachers, and grade 3, 4, 5, and 6 instruments are for students. Instrument B is developed for students in grade 4, 5, and 6 called muhasabah Sheet. Each item in instrument B is provided the answer choices and reasons. The results of the instrument A analysis: all items (24) developed in grade 1 instrument for classroom teachers are valid; 36 items in grade 1 instrument for the parents are valid; 35 items in grade 2 instrument are valid; 31 items in grade 3 instrument are valid; 32 items in grade 4 instrument are valid; 32 items in grade 5 instrument are valid; and 26 items in grade 6 instrument are valid. The results of the instrument B test (muhasabah Sheet) reveal that 58 items of the answer choices are valid and 34 items of answer reasons are valid. The mean reliability of instrument A is 0.948 (included in a very high category) and of instrument B (muhasabah Sheet) is 0.978 (included in a very high category). With this result, the evaluation instruments that have been developed can be used to measure the affective domain of learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlaq subjects in madrasah ibtidaiyah. %K evaluation instrument; affective domain; aqidah akhlaq; madrasah Ibtidaiyah; desain produk %D 2014 %I UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SUNAN KALIJAGA %L digilib14718
