%X This research aims to examine on how the tribunjogja.com frames news
about the inhibition in the construction process of a new building Hall Library and
archive of Yogyakarta from 24 to 27 February 2014.
This Qualitative research is purely descriptive. Datas are obtained from
news texts related to the inhibition in the construction process of the new building
Hall Library and archive of Yogyakarta from 24-27 February 2014. Methods of
analysis used in this research is the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki
framing analysis, which consists of four structures i.e. thematic, scripts, syntax,
and rhetorical.
This research reveals that the tribunjogja.com gives emphasis on the
improper and incompetent action from the local Government of Yogyakarta and
Balai Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in selecting the
counterparty, which makes trouble towards this construction projects.
Tribunjogja.com also indicates corruption in this case.
