The research used in this study is quasi-experimental design with pretestposttest matched comparison group design. Research variable consists of two variables, that is independent variable in the form of Guided Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning models. The dependent variable is achievement of learners. The population in this research was grade VII numbered seven classes from 2014/2015 school year. The sample is using class random sampling, derived from VII E class as first experimental class (I) and VII D class as second experimental class (II). Methods of data collection using tests, observation, and questionnaires. For the analysis is using independent sample t test (two-tailed) using SPSS, which previously performed the prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity test. The results showed that: 1) there is no difference of learning achievement that follows the model of learning with Guided Discovery Learning with learners who follow the teaching of Problem Based Learning model after a given treatment 2) Realization of Guided Discovery Learning models on the first experimental class showed an average score of 3.21 with good criteria while feasibility Problem Based Learning model in the experimental class II showed an average score of 3.29 with very good criteria.} }
