%X Association analysis is useful to reveal hidden interesting relationships in a large
data sets. Revealed relationships can be represented in the form of association
rules or sets of items that frequently appear together. Association rules from
decision support system of selling goods in a supermarket used to analyze the
sales of goods purchased by consumers, and the output of the analysis was to
determine what items are purchased and know the inter-relationship between one
and other goods purchased by consumers. So the owner of the supermarket can
optimize inventory, arrange the placement of goods, and designing marketing
campaigns using a discount coupons for combination ofcertain goods.
Apriori algorithm is the most famous algorithm to find a high frequency pattern.
High frequency pattern is the patterns of items in a database that has a frequency
or support above a certain threshold, called the minimum support and used to
develop associative rules. To realize this decision support system needed
programming language PHP and MySQL as the database server.
Based on testing of system, 94% agree with the functional system that has been
created and 95.8% agree with the interface and access the system.
