%X The purpose of this research was to find the correlation between social support  and autonomy of student at Islamic boarding school. The hypothesis in this research  was positive correlation between social support and autonomy. The subject in this  research were student in Islamic Boarding School Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta and  the criteria are recorded as student at Islamic Boarding School Al-Luqmaniyyah  Yogyakarta and student university. Sample of this research were 111 students. The  sample are collected with simple random sampling technique. The methodology of  this research is quantitative research. The data were collected by social support scale  and autonomy scale. The data analyze by Spearman’s Rho using SPSS version 17.00  for windows. The result of the data analysis acquired the values of correlation 0,357  and p = 0.00 (<0,05). the analysis result showed that there was positive correlation  between social support and autonomy. It mean more social support of the student so  higher autonomy. Therefore, hypothesis was accepted.
