        abstract = {The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of emotion regulation breast cancer patients in Yogyakarta. This study used qualitative methods with case study approach. The informans were two breast cancer patients. Collecting data in this study used observasions and interviews. These results indicated that the presence of emotion regulation performed by two informans. The emotion regulation process was to understand and be aware of the emotions. Furthermore, managing and balancing the emotions. Then modifing that emotions. So that negative emotions tend to be motivated. The processe was included by several factors, i.e., age, cognitive, social, cultural, and religiosity. But the economy was another facthor in that processe.}
