%X This study aims to determine the information needs library users in KPAD Banjarnegara  regency, which is divided into four groups library users, namely library users student,  students, employees, and the general public. This research is descriptive quantitative  research. Research subjects in this study were library users in KPAD Kabupatn  Banjarnegara. While the research object in this study is the need for information on  KPAD library users Banjarnegara regency. Methods of data collection through  questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. While the study population  was library users visiting KPAD Banjarnegara regency totaling 32880 people based on  the year-end report KPAD Banjarnegara regency. With so many of the population is  taken a sample of 100 people was calculated using the formula of Taro Yamane.  Determination of the number of samples by using stratified random sampling  propotionate. Sampling was done by accidental sampling. The main data collection by  questionnaire, measuring instrument with a Likert scale response. From the research  described in tabular form and analyzed in terms of the interpretation of the sentence  containing the conclusions of writing. The results of the study are (1) The information  needs of students belonging to the category of high (2.82). (2) The information needs of  students is high (3.04). (3) The information needs of employees is high (2.73). (4) The  need for public information is high (2.76). (4) The need for information library users  generally is high (2.83).
