This research includes research survey by using descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection method in this study uses questionnaire, observation, interviews and documentations methods. Accidental sampling was done in the sample collection, with the total sampling as many as 97 respondents from 3.478 population of the night library-user’s obtaining Yamane formula. This research shows that night service quality in Kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Yogyakarta expressed “good” in general of library-users. This can be seen from the calculation of the results showed that the average value of perception of library user is 27,53 and the average score of minimum hope is 27,32. While the average value of the libraryuser’s hope they desired is 29,51. Thus, it can be known that the perception is higher that the average minimum expectations, so it can be obtained that the gap of Adequacy Gap (AG) is 0,21 (positive) and the value of Superiorty Gap (SG) is – 2,90 (negative). Based on the calculation Adequacy Gap (AG) and Superiorty Gap (SG), the dimensions that have not yet met the hopes and perception are information Access (AI) dimension and 3 statements namely the quietness of library room at night, the arrangement of library collection (book, of reference material, magazine, newspaper, ect) the ease of library-users in the prosess of information retrieval, and the independence of library-users in search ing information in the library at night, yet the survey shows that those items have not been good and need further improvements.
