N2  - The topic discussed in this research is how is the implementation of the
right of information access for inmates in correctional facility level IIA of
Wirogunan Yogyakarta. The research employs descriptive-qualitative approach.
Researcher will investigate and explain the facts narratively to be further
described as they have been found in the field. The research ends to the conlusion
that the implementation of the right of information access for inmates in
correctional facility level IIA Wirogunan Yogyakarta is already established.
Nevertheless, there are still several factors interfere with it, such as the sort of
socialization on the right of information acess, limited of facilities of technology
of information, absent of analysis of the needs of inmates for information access,
and the unremarkable management and limited of competent person to look after
the facility.
