(2) critical thinking skills based learning model CLIS application in teaching physics. The method used in this study is a quasi experiment with the technique of sampling random sampling, the population in this research is class VII SMPN 1 Karangkancana 2014/2015 school year, the class VII C was selected as the experimental class VII and class D as the control class. Variables in this study included variables such as learning model CLIS (Children Learning In Science) as well as the dependent variable in the form of students' critical thinking skills. The research instrument used in the form of instruments about pretest and posttest. Data analysis technique used statistical parametric t test that had previously been tested in advance associated level of normality and homogeneity, as well as normalized gain (N-gain). The results show that 1) There are differences between the students' critical thinking skills classes using CLIS and classroom learning models that use Direct models Insteruction the motion of matter (sig.
