abstract: BMT Mitra Usaha Ummat is a private financial institution in the form of
cooperative engaged in lending business which provides loan or credit for the
lower middle clas society. There are a huge number of prospective customers who
apply for credit funds from different economic condition, this situation makes
BMT Mitra Usaha Ummat facing difficulty in determining prospective customer
who deserve credit funds because some of the data obtained are qualitative. This
situation requires a decision support system which can help in determining the
prospective customer that is eligible to receive credit funds.
This study is using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP
method is a method that is widely used in solving multicriteria problems and are
able to present qualitative information form into quantitative form. In determining
beneficiery customer credit selection, there are 7 basic criteria used, namely the
expense in other places, income, business, business ownership, analysis of
insurance price of financing, analysis of saving of financing, and the member
status.
Based on the result of the present study, it shows that the system are
successfully applied the AHP in the process of calculating the final weight of the
prospective customer data. Based on the result of functional system testing, all
respondents agree that the system is functioning properly made. Based on the
result of usability system testing, the result of the average percentage of the total
score function is 77,33% are in the rating scale between75% - 100% (Very
Worthy).
