"This research is aimed to know how is the behavior that librarian give in library\r\nservice at Perpustakaan Umum Kulonprogo Regency based on library’s user. The\r\nmethod e that used in this research is descriptive quantitative methode, a number\r\nof subject that is definite by using Yamane formula is 99 (ninety nine)\r\nrespondents. The methode of collecting data that used in this research are\r\nobservation, interview, questionnaire, and Documentation. The data are analysed\r\nby using mean and grand mean. The result from analiyzed data show that 11\r\nindicators received a good points from respondent, they are for librarians are to be\r\nacquainted with library’s user, to be sociable in service, to know exactly what user\r\nwant, to serve till finished, to should not forching their idea on user, to serve with\r\ncheerful face, to guaranted library’s user secret information, to have not a negative\r\nprejudice toward user, to give user a big thank And the indicators that received a\r\nnegative responds is promotion of service product.Based on the data that have\r\nbeen analysed is shown that Library’s user perception toward Librarian behavior\r\nis categorized as “good” and it’s proven by the numbers of grand mean 2,98. And\r\nbased on the interval in grand mean interpretation, a number 2,98 si categorized as\r\ngood.
