This research was conducted at the Directorate library of Indonesian\r\nIslamic University using qualitative research methods, is to dig the facts relating\r\nto thepreservation information of digital collection through the media transfer\r\nrather thenbe described with reference to the items in the interview questions in\r\nthe field. After the data collected and presented in the form of words or phrases\r\nthat correspond to the reality, in this research the main instrument is the\r\nresearchers themselves, and therefore researchers conduct their own observation /\r\nobservation and indeep interview to get in-depth information. Data analysis\r\ntechniques in this research starts from the data has been collected (data from\r\ninterviews, observation, and documentation) is reduced by means analyzed and\r\ninterpreted and then presented that can be easily understood its meaning. The\r\nresults of this study to describe that activity preservation information of digital\r\ncollection through the media transfer have some obstacles encountered in terms of\r\npolicy this activity has not been formulated specifically. In terms of Human\r\nResources (HR) less of human that helps the process of preservation information,\r\nespecially in the preparation prior to scanning. Further to the equipment used has\r\na high price so that if the tools used are not directly damaged can be done\r\nrepurchase yet fixed in advance when severe damage newly made purchases."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
