N2  - A social media basically have an important role in efforts to spread political
messages, to facilitate interaction and political dealings and able to build knowledge
about various political issues growing. Related to this, social media can also be a new
medium for the establishment of a collective identity that can be accumulated in order to
achieve a movement which is expected to achieve a change in society. Through the
internet, we can share something on social media like being in the arena of free
intervention. We could just expressing ideas without any pressure from any party. With
social media, we can just write down all the things that exist in our minds into the
public arena; free, from anywhere and at anytime. Not only seen as a means of
communication and face-to-face event via cyberspace, within the last few years the use
of social media also extends into the realm of mass mobilization and collection of
public opinion.
A social dimension of discourse analysis of Norman Fairclough try to peel the
