abstract: This research take from the phenomenon of increasing the number of
smokers in Indonesia, so in terms of cigarette consumption, Indonesia became the
second highest after East Timor. The more concern is the high consumer of
cigarettes include at which the students, aged students are of childbearing age
should not be contaminated by addictive substances contained in cigarettes. In this
case the government take a more assertive stance in order to overcome the
problem by issuing a warning about the dangers of smoking are listed in
Permenkes 28 of 2013 in which the manufacturer is required to include a warning
cigarette smoking risk in the form of visual images by 40% of the tobacco product
packaging. This study aims to determine how much influence the visual
communication of risk of smoking on student attitudes SMK N 2 Yogyakarta

This study includes quantitative research, the survey method. The
sampling technique by census, using the whole population. Analysis of the data in
this study using linear regression analysis. Then the data were processed using the
software SPSS.20 for Windows computer operating system.
The results of this study indicate, there is a significant effect anatara

due to smoking. On the Affective aspects can be concluded that the bulk of
students indifferent and others have pesaraan fear, dislike and uncomfortable
against cigarette warnings. In conative aspect can be concluded that students are
vulnerable and affected to try cigarettes or smoke again.
