In accordance with the increasing competition in the television industry to attract the attention of viewers and advertisers, so the television station should attempt to present an attractive show. One of these serves mystical show, and modified by various television stations.In response of Indonesian television that had many mystical spectacles, the researcher is interested to know how public perceptions against one of the mystical show in Trans7 television station that is Dua Dunia, especially toward communication science students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The purpose of this study is to determine how perceptions of communication science students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta toward mystical reality show of Dua Dunia. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, and analyzed based on the theory of perception, and assessed using the factors that affect perception. The results of this study indicate that students' perceptions of communication science of UIN Sunan Kalijaga against mystical reality show of Dua Dunia related to spectacle usability, spectacle impact, satisfaction, spectacle message, spectacle concept (plot, the presenter’s selection) tend to be positive, relation with culture is positive but not in the spectacle authenticity. %Z Drs.Siantari Rihartono, M.Si
