The independent variable in this research is perception of teachers to student’s learning interest and the dependent variable is affective organizational commitment. The teacher’s of this research is teacher’s at the state high school in district Purworejo. The methods that used in this research is quantitative, and data collection using cluster random sampling technique to the subjects were 58 teacher’s. Data collection was performed by the method of psychological scale. Affective commitment to the organizationis measured using the scale of affective commitment to the organization by 31 valid item (α =0.890). Perception to learning interest measured using Perception Scale by 43 item valid (α =0.972). The analysis technique used is the product moment correlation using SPSS version16.0 forWindows. The results of data analysis between perception of teacher’s to student’s and affective organizational commitment of teacher’s is r = 0.685. This results indicate the direction of a positive and significant relationship between affective commitment to the organization by the perceptions of teachers to students' learning interest. The higher the perception of teacher’s to student’s learning interest, the higher affective commitment to the organization. The hypothesis of this research is acceptable. Contribution variable perceptions of teacher’s to student learning interest is 47% for affective commitment to the organization of teachers at State high school in district Purworejo.
