N2  - This article deals briefly with three topics closed related to interreligious relationship:
religious plurality, dakwah or religious preaching, and religious dialogue.
People of different faiths are living together now in a way that they cannot
isolate themselves each other. Pluralistic world has made no any community,
either religious one or not, can avoid the influences of others or to influence
others. However, the propagandistic nature of all religious experiences have
made religious plurality tends to rise many problems. In fact, all religions are
missionary religions. In religious pluralistic societies, the realization of dakwah
may cause tensions and conflicts because of different aims and interest. Therefore,
dakwah should be based and actualized much more on hikmah, or wisdom,
in order that it would give goodness, peacefulness, and security to all religious
believers. One of many ways to do this is to carry out sincerely and successively
religious dialogue, one mode of religious relations and cooperation among religions.
It should be always keepin mind that religious dialogue is not only a
?talking together? in order to understand and respect each other, but it is a
?sharing? to solve common problems together. Accordingly, religious dialogue
has been assumed as the best way to harmonize interreligious relationship and
to build cooperation among different religious believers.
