N2  - Many countries in all side of this world. The era which is getting advanced
encourages several countries in the world to get a peaceful life. It could happen if
those countries mutually recognize the need of each other to achieve world peace.
Communication needs to be done to maintain good relations among countries.
International communications needs to be done to avoid the bad things that might
happen. Diplomacy becomes one of media that is used to strengthen relationship
among countries in order to be better. It is interesting side making researcher have
to review diplomacy conducted by Indonesia with Arabic region countries.
This study used qualitative methods, is the research which is using
descriptive research. Object of this research is the communication made between
Indonesia and Arabic region countries, with the subject of research is XII
Biennale Jogja Equator # 2 Event. Data sources used primary data which is taken
from the document, XII Biennale Jogja Equator # 2 Event and the secondary data
is from the interview. Data collection technique used in two ways, are the study of
documents and interviews. This study used analysis unit of Morgenteau, is four
important tasks in diplomacy and analysis unit of Liliweri with the approach of
exhibition.
The conclusion of this study is to describe one of diplomacy media using
the event which is conducted by Yayasan Biennale Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta
Biennale Foundation). XII Biennale Jogja Equator #2 Event is manifest of
Indonesia diplomacy form with Arabic region countries. In this event used the
Arabic theme to describe contemporary conditions of Arabic countries nowdays.
