N2  - This research describes the prophetic communication in boarding school.
The goal is to understand the process of encoding and decoding in building values
prophetic. It used a qualitative. Data collection techniques were observation,
interviews, documentation and resources as a form of triangulation data validity.
Prophetic communication built by students of boarding school are considered in
accordance with the vision and mission boarding school Sulaimaniyah.
The subject is the students of them, where they use different language and
symbols. In this case the culture and race became one of the main part of the
problem misscommunication. As for some of they apply the values of the
prophetic directly and through social media. Communicators often using local
languages so it can not be interpreted by the communicant. Neither the
communicant in the meaning of the message could not apply perfectly.
The process of encoding and decoding them in building values
Sulaimaniyah prophetic in boarding school often have misperceptions. During the
process of delivering and receiving prophetic message is always associated with
communication elements such as sender, message, encoding, channel, receiver,
encoding, decoding in accordance with field experience. Facts on the field shows
that there are still many students are still having trouble applying the values
prophetic. To that end, the encoder and decoder must have the purpose of sharing
experiences or the same understanding and knowledge of communication in order
to function effectively. It is concluded that in order to understand the encoding
process takes the language selection, selection of communication media and the
selection of appropriate forms of communication. The decoding takes adaptation
to diverse messages.
