This research classified as qualitative descriptive which conducted with single variable. The variable of this research is library users perception towards classification system at the library of Lembaga Indonesia Perancis (LIP) Yogyakarta. Sub variable of this research consist of two sub variables which described into some indicators. The indicators consist of thirthy questions. This research used sampling incidental as sampling technique. Sample of this research taken by 90 respondents. Data analysis of this research used two kind of formulas which consist of mean formula and grand mean formula from each sub variable. According to the data analysis of this research from each sub variable, it could be concluded as : sub variabel library users perception in the amount of 3,0025 were good categorized and sub variabel library users perception towards classification system in the amount of 3,0174 were good categorized. Finally, from the data above, total average value of library users perception towards classification system at the library of Lembaga Indonesia Perancis (LIP) Yogyakarta could be concluded in the amount of 3,01 and it could be good categorized. However, the library should be adding an interpretation of francophone subject in order to help library visitor who are not a member of the library could understand or interpet the francophone subject which applied by Library of LIP Yogyakarta. And for members of Library LIP Yogyakarta they should be given a user education. %Z Dr. Nurdin Laugu, S.Ag, SS, MA
