N2  - Mangrove ecosystem is ecosystem that is mostly inhabited by floor fauna. Research
about the distribution and the abundance of floor fauna in BogowontoLagoon
mangrove ecosystem is conducted in August until October 2014. The aims of this
research are to study about the floor fauna that live in mangrove, to study the
distribution and the abundance of the floor fauna, and the relation between both
studies and the physical and chemical environment?s factor. The data collection
technique is quadratic method with 1m x 1m plot size using purposive sampling way.
Based on the result of the research, there are 15 species cnsist of Uca annulipes, Uca
vomeris, Uca lactea, Uca tetragonon, Uca crassipes, Uca hesperiae, Parasesarma
bidens, Periopthalamus sp., Telescopiumtelescopium, Clibanariuslongitarsus,
Polymesodaexpansa, Neritodryas dubia, Littoraria sp., Faunus ater and Thalassina
anomala. Species that are abundant, they areFaunus ater in station 1 with 92
ind/10mē and U. annulipes in station 2 and station 3 with 88 ind/ 10mē and 116 ind/
10mē that spread evenly and for species T. anomala, P. expansa, Littoraria sp. and N.
dubia uneven distribution. Based on CCA analysis, the present and the abundant of
Faunus ater is influenced by the light intensity, soil temperature, pH and C organic
while Uca annulipes and Ucavomerisis influenced by the soil humidity and
ammonium.
