PGPR is a group of bacteria colonizing the roots of plants actively and thrive in soil rich with organic matter. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a plant which contains much water on it?s body and has a high economic value. Lettuce has a good prospect to agriculture because of easy cultivation and growth fast. This study was to determine the influence and the best PGPR concentration to lettuce growth. The treatment consisted of five variation of PGPR concentration those were control (P1), PGPR 0,25\% (v/v) (P2), PGPR 0,5\% (v/v) (P3), PGPR 0,75\% (v/v) (P4), PGPR 1\% (v/v) (P5), and PGPR 1,25\% (v/v) (P6). The observed parameters included plant morphology and environmental conditions. The result showed that variation of PGPR concentration generally affected on lettuce growth better than control. The best concentration of PGPR influencing the lettuce growth was P3 0,5\% (v/v). Keywords: Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.), Plant Growth Promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR),} }
