This study is a descriptive qualitative research which the ways of collecting data are doing observation, interviewing, and taking the documentations from five teachers of Bahasa as the informants. To help in collecting the data, this research uses Mikes and Huberman' theory; data reduction, data display, and data verification. Then all the data selected are analyzed by using meolong theory; credibility, transferability, and confirmability; to test the validity of the data. The results of the study show (1.) Teachers of Bahasa takes big role as the motivators to their students in the library utilization in SMA Muhammadyah 1 klaten. The motivations that tachers use can be in the follows : scoring and ego-involvement or using competition technique. Most of the students are motivated to go to library to do the task, and the task is related to the score. (2.) Most of students SMA Muhammadyah 1 Klaten go to.the library only when their teacher ask to do the task. There are only few students that go to the library because of their own hobby. Usually, students will go to the library when they borrow book and use internet connection. However, the serial number of the books' collection have not been arranged orderly. That makes students difficult to find the books.
