"The purposes of this study are to find how the role of teachers of Bahasa\r\nIndonesia as the motivators in the library utilization to their sudents in SMA\r\nMuhammadyah 1 Klaten and how the utilization of library there. This study is a\r\ndescriptive qualitative research which the ways of collecting data are doing\r\nobservation, interviewing, and taking the documentations from five teachers of\r\nBahasa as the informants. To help in collecting the data, this research uses Mikes\r\nand Huberman' theory; data reduction, data display, and data verification. Then all\r\nthe data selected are analyzed by using meolong theory; credibility,\r\ntransferability, and confirmability; to test the validity of the data. The results of\r\nthe study show (1.) Teachers of Bahasa takes big role as the motivators to their\r\nstudents in the library utilization in SMA Muhammadyah 1 klaten. The\r\nmotivations that tachers use can be in the follows : scoring and ego-involvement\r\nor using competition technique. Most of the students are motivated to go to library\r\nto do the task, and the task is related to the score. (2.) Most of students SMA\r\nMuhammadyah 1 Klaten go to.the library only when their teacher ask to do the\r\ntask. There are only few students that go to the library because of their own\r\nhobby. Usually, students will go to the library when they borrow book and use\r\ninternet connection. However, the serial number of the books' collection have not\r\nbeen arranged orderly. That makes students difficult to find the books. Moreover,\r\nthe library has only one.computer to be operated by students so only a few\r\nstudents can access the internet."^^ . "2016-03-28" . . . .
