Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi pengaruh dari volatilitas nilai
tukar terhadap ekspor Indonesia dengan tiga negara mitra ekspor utama yaitu
Jepang, Amerika Serikat dan Singapura selama periode 2000:1-2014:4. Standar
deviasi dari nilai tukar riil digunakan untuk menghitung volatilitas nilai tukar.
Sedangkan untuk mengestimasi pengaruh volatilitas nilai tukar riil terhadap
ekspor Indonesia ke jepang, Amerika Serikat dan Singapura (periode 2000:1-
2014:4) adalah menggunakan regresi data panel. Hasil dari penelitian ini
menunjukan bahwa volatilitas nilai tukar riil berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan
terhadap terhadap ekspor riil Indonesia ke jepang, Amerika Serikat dan Singapura
pada periode 2000:1-2014:4. Sedangkan nilai tukar nominal berpengaruh positif
dan signifikan terhadap tingkat ekspor riil Indonesia ke jepang, Amerika Serikat
dan Singapura pada periode 2000:1-2014:4.

ABSTRACT
This research empirically investigates the impact of real exchange rate
volatility on real export flow of Indonesia to the Japan, United States and
Singapore for the period 2000:1-2014:4. The standard deviation of real exchange
rates is employed to measure the exchange rate volatility. Panel data regression
model are used to obtain the estimate of the impact of real exchange rate volatility
on real export flow of Indonesia to the Japan, United States and Singapore for the
period 2000:1-2014:4. The result obtained in this research on the whole, provide
evidence that the real exchange rate volatility has a significant negative effect on
real export of Indonesia to the Japan, United States and Singapore for the period
2000:1-2014:4 and nominal exchange rate has a significant positive effect on real
export of Indonesia to the Japan, United States and Singapore for the period
2000:1-2014:4.
