        abstract = {This research aimed to know user?s information need Archives and Library Regional
Office Yogyakarta that have been devided to 3 user group. There are student colege,
public, student. This research includes a descriptive study using quantitative approach.
Subject in this research is user in Archives and Library Regional Office Yogyakarta; and
the object in this research is user?s information needed. Data collection methods used
were questionnaires. Observation, interview and documentation. The population in this
research is user who become member of Archives and Library Regional Office
Yogyakarta, and they are 35.666, based on library ?s data on december 2015 in Archives
and Library Regional Office Yogyakarta. From that population have been taken 100
sample, based on Taro Yamane?s Formula. Sampling was done by using accidental
sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires, tool of answer is likert scale.
The result from this research describe in table and sentences. The result are (1) student
college?s information needed is high (2,75). (2) Public?s information neede is high (2,72).
(3) student;s information needed is high (2,77). The Suggestion for Archives and Library
Regional Office Yogyakarta is there are need more attention for public?s informastion
needed, like more adding collection for public in Archives and Library Regional Office
Yogyakarta.}
