N2  - The study aimed at finding out the compare of the company?s financial
performance before and after the stock split at the company and non-Islamic
sharia, and compare the company?s financial performance and non-Islamic
sharia after stock split in the period of 2011 until 2015.
Variable financial performance of companies in this study used six proxy
that were Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt Ratio (DR),
Return on Asset (ROA), Return On Investment (ROI), and Earning Per Share
(EPS).
The method used in this study was event study with a quantitative
approach. The sampling method used in this study using purposive sampling
method with certain criteria of the researchers, in order to obtain the 30
companies surveyed, 24 companies of which the company sharia and 6 non-
Islamic companies. The data were analyzed by using t-test (means different
testing) supported by SPSS.
The results of the study for comparison of financial performance sharia
before and after stock split that were Total asset Turnover and Earnings per
Share indicate a significant difference, while the proxy variable financial
performance current ratio, debt ratio, return on investment dan return on equity
were not significant different.
The result of the study for comparison of non-Islamic financial
performance before and after the stock split were proxies financial performance
of the current ratio, total asset turnover, debt ratio, return on investment, return
on equity and earnings per share were not significant different.
The result of the study for comparison of the company?s financial
performance with non-Islamic sharia after stock split were proxies financial
performance of the current ratio, total asset turnover, debt ratio, return on
investment, return on equity and earnings per share were not significant different.
