%X The financial crisis that occurred in 1999 and 2008 impact on the economy,  especially the financial services industry such as banking. Many banks are becoming.  Colleps at the time, but not in Islamic banking that can survive the crises. This study  aims at researching about Islamic banking and conventional performance of the year  2008-2014 by using CAMEL, where samples are taken using purposive sampling  that BSM and BRI. CAMEL method consists of five aspects: Capital, Assets,  Management, Earnings, Liquidity. Of the five aspects of each aspect ratio contains a  value that will be used to measure the level of her health, and then use the provisions  of CAMEL value to measure the level of overall health. The results of this study  showed that there was no difference between the health performance of Islamic  banking and conventional of the year 2008-2014 by using CAMEL.
