abstract: The development of good corporate governance have a big effect, one of the
important activities of the company have to apply is the presence management and
management of working hours of employees. PT. Geschool Cerdas Mandiri as a
company still applying the presence management and management of working
hours of employees manually. Management of manually also raises the issue of a
permit of the employee not listed, difficulty in monitoring or recapitulation of
presence data and working hours of employees. Need for appropriate systems and
open to changing needs of the company.
System development using the Extreme Programming method. Four stages
in this method is the planning, design, coding and testing. XP has a simple process
flow, coherently, quickly, to put forward an intense communication with customers
and easily adjust the changing needs. Android-based Presence application built with
SQLite database and web-based administrator page built with MySQL databases.
Presence applications that have been built have features to be used as a tool
of employees presence, submit a request for permission and see presence reports.
On the administrators page also have the ability to manage employee data, manage
and recapitulation of presence employees data. The system was successfully
updated and help companies manage related presence data. Results of usability
testing for the administrator page shows 25% strongly agree and 75% agree, while
for employees presence applications shows 27.5% strongly agree and 65% agree.
