abstract: An evaluation of library collection is a library collection
activity both from collection availability view and collection view. In
this research, evaluation of library collection is defined as a proccess
to describe and measure the collection availability in a library with
certain criteria, in order to be analized and conclused about how for
collection availability of 2013 syllabus of Islamic education in MTsN
Giriloyo.
Evaluation method this research is on its collection. The goal of
this research is knowing the collection availability of the books of
Islamic education, based on 2013 curriculum. This is cuantitative
descriptive research. There are some methods to get the data such as
documentation, observation and interview. The instrument wich used
in this research is check list arraged based on syllabus of Islamic
education in lesson year 2015/2016 based on 2013 curriculum.
The result of this study shown that the collection availability of
the Islamic education on lesson year 2015/2016 in the library of MTs
Negeri Giriloyo based on 2013 curriculum is good with prosentase
84,75%.
