It is a qualitative research. The subject of this research is Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and the object is its RFID function in the service of borrowing and returning. In collecting the data, this research uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The analysis technique of this research uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data validity test uses credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. These results indicate that evaluation of RFID function in the service of borrowing and returning at the library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta using the evaluation system analysis can be quite good for most of the functions are fulfilled. There are 5 functions RFID from 10 RFID functions that can be fulfilled, that is RFID tags replace both the EM security strips and barcode; ability to handle material without exception for video and audio tapes; long tag life; radio frequency anti-theft detection is innovative and safe; and simplified patron self check-out/check-in.} }
