The use of e-learning concept nowadays covers all levels of education such as Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama or SMP), Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas or SMA), Vocational High School (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan or SMK) and Colleges. SMKN I Boyolali is a school located in Boyolali district. Most of the learning activities are conducted by face to face between teachers and students in the classroom. So that the interaction between teachers and students in exchanging the information about teaching and learning activities are still limited in place and time. System development method used in this study is prototyping. Prototyping method is a rapid development and testing of working models (prototypes) of new applications through interaction process and repetitive, so there would be good communication between user and developer. This method has four stages, they are identifying the user needs, developing the prototype, user evaluation against prototype and prototype ready to use. E-learning system in SMKN I Boyolali which is developed has features to facilitate the teachers and students to exchange the information, such as teachers can upload assignments and materials, make announcements, download students tasks, while students can download assignments and materials also upload tasks which is assigned by the teacher. The results of functionality test of administrators system, teachers and students is 100\%, whereas usability test of administrators system is 84\% of respondents accept the system, teachers system usability test is 94\% of respondents accept the system and students system usability test is 78\% of respondents accept this system.} }
