Caulerpa racemosa is a seaweed of the class Chlorophyceae which have antioxidant capacity and high economic value. However C.racemosa production is still low because they rely on nature and experience many obstacles, such as bad weather, pests, diseases, and predators. This research aims to determine variations in the dosage of NPK best to obtain optimal growth C.racemosa and find out the effects of aeration combined with using of NPK dosage variation against C.racemosa growth rate. The research was conducted over 42 days in August until September 2015 in the Great Hall of Brackish Water Aquaculture Development (BBPBAP) Jepara. The research was designed using a randomized block design (RAK) to the types of control treatment and three kinds of dosage of NPK. NPK fertilizers were given 2 grams dosage variation 1 NPK (1:1:1), 2 dosage of NPK (3:2:1), 3 dosage of NPK (4:2:1). The treatmen group consist of aerated and non-aerated with 5 replications. Media maintenance is the form of sea water using a substrate of the muddy sand in aquarium. Fertilizers used are single fertilizer Nitrogen, SP 36, and KCl. Fertilization is done by soaking C.racemosa with 1 liter of fertilizer solution for 6 hours. The rate of growth shown by the best dosage of 1 NPK (1:1:1) without aeration, with an average length of 351 cm ± stolon end, the number of ramuli 38 pieces, and the mean weight of 34,1 grams wet end. The lowest growth rate generated by the same dosage of NPK using aeration with a mean length of 117,06 cm ± stolon end, the number of ramuli 11 pieces, and the mean weight of 12,18 grams wet end. %Z Ika Nugraheni Ari Martiwi, M.Si
