"Seaweed is the one of fishery commodities in Indonesia which has a role in\r\nincreasing the income of coastal communities. Caulerpa racemosa is a seaweed\r\nof the class Chlorophyceae which have antioxidant capacity and high economic\r\nvalue. However C.racemosa production is still low because they rely on nature\r\nand experience many obstacles, such as bad weather, pests, diseases, and\r\npredators. This research aims to determine variations in the dosage of NPK best to\r\nobtain optimal growth C.racemosa and find out the effects of aeration combined\r\nwith using of NPK dosage variation against C.racemosa growth rate. The research\r\nwas conducted over 42 days in August until September 2015 in the Great Hall of\r\nBrackish Water Aquaculture Development (BBPBAP) Jepara. The research was\r\ndesigned using a randomized block design (RAK) to the types of control treatment\r\nand three kinds of dosage of NPK. NPK fertilizers were given 2 grams dosage\r\nvariation 1 NPK (1:1:1), 2 dosage of NPK (3:2:1), 3 dosage of NPK (4:2:1). The\r\ntreatmen group consist of aerated and non-aerated with 5 replications. Media\r\nmaintenance is the form of sea water using a substrate of the muddy sand in\r\naquarium. Fertilizers used are single fertilizer Nitrogen, SP 36, and KCl.\r\nFertilization is done by soaking C.racemosa with 1 liter of fertilizer solution for 6\r\nhours. The rate of growth shown by the best dosage of 1 NPK (1:1:1) without\r\naeration, with an average length of 351 cm ± stolon end, the number of ramuli 38\r\npieces, and the mean weight of 34,1 grams wet end. The lowest growth rate\r\ngenerated by the same dosage of NPK using aeration with a mean length of\r\n117,06 cm ± stolon end, the number of ramuli 11 pieces, and the mean weight of\r\n12,18 grams wet end."^^ .
